i genuinely think if moira didn’t interrupt them this scene would’ve built up to a kiss scene
GAHHSHRHEHHW
once again back on my moira mactaggert hate train
erik should’ve shot her the gun is right there
who cares what the president has to say let the gays have their moment! god woman give it a rest!
IM SORRY THIS IS MEAN BUT SHE PISSES ME OFF WHENEVER SHES ONSCREEN
the first time i watched this movie i actually cheered when erik started choking her
crying
does anyone have any fics where they weren’t interrupted? there’s probably a few but idk what exactly to search up
moira has some kinda plot armor
knock charles out and then kill her idk
need to call up magneto for this
they couldn’t show the rest of the mutant road trip cause they were getting touchy feely with eachother 🤨
erik went to go cry in his bedroom afterwards
moira gives me “move over boys! let a real woman deal with this 😏😌” vibes WHILE SHE DOES NOTHING
for some reason i can appreciate moira in other things like the animated series or maybe the comics (i haven’t read many) but with the movies i want to bring back public execution
people write her way better in fanfics honestly
anyway gonna go buy a dart board then print a picture of her and use her face as target practice toodles
#anti movie moira mactaggert#genuinly seething whenever i see her#no hate to actress btw#its the character i despise#i try to be creative with threats cause just wishing someone a quick death is boring#i’ll pour dangerous chemicals in her shampoo#that’ll show her 😏😎#i think im talking like a ye olde villian help#im twirling my ridiculously long mustache send help#im evilly stroking my cat as i reveal myself this isnt funny anymore 😧#Ah! When we were starting, I was terrified. I've never been so terrified in my career. How do you take on 62, in Russia, speaking Russian? How has she changed? It felt like other than the essential core of who this person was, everything else was different. Trying to figure out how to navigate that over the course of six months, there were just days where it was very hard not to let the actual terror of that take over me. But I also think in some ways the fact that there was so much, there was just a certain point at which I was, you just gotta stop thinking about it and just d o. Every day, just do. It felt like the three seasons were about how the relationships had changed, and the confidence that comes with rising through the ranks. And this season I was just like, holy shit!
Wrenn Schmidt on playing Margo Madison in For All Mankind season 4
#when Joel said she should take on more jobs that scare her. FELT.#For All Mankind#forallmankindedit#Wrenn Schmidt#Margo Madison#'one hell of a performance from an actress I've never seen before' lmao FR who tf does she think she is!? god.#I am begging y'all pls keep challenging her. no more manic pixie dream girls and mothers for her or I will RIOT#OBSESSED with her saying adding the limp was all her idea. normal choice to make when you alreadyfeel overwhelmed with the task at hand.#(desperately need to know if she was an ER and/or House girlie as a teen/20something or if that's a remnant from her POI days.)#(Margo's full body turn because she can't move her neck is very Harold)

When June Foray passed away on July 26th 2017, just shy of her 100th birthday, I was asked to do the artwork for the WB tribute ad for her. Here is one of the prelims for that print art. Having had the pleasure of working with June as she voiced her iconic Granny character, it was an honor to draw this for her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE MUNRO!
Caroline Munro (born 16 January 1949 in Windsor, Berkshire) is a British actress and model best known for her many appearances in science fiction and action films of the 1970s and 1980s. According to Munro, her career took off in 1966 when her mother and photographer friend entered some headshots of her to Britain’s The Evening News “Face of the Year” contest.
“I wanted to do art. Art was my love. I went to Art School in Brighton but I was not very good at it. I just did not know what to do. I had a friend at the college who was studying photography and he needed somebody to photograph and he asked me. Unbeknownst to me, he sent the photographs to a big newspaper in London. The famous fashion photographer, David Bailey, was conducting a photo contest and my picture won.”
This led to modelling chores, her first job being for Vogue Magazine at the age of 17. She moved to London to pursue top modelling jobs and became a major cover girl for fashion and TV ads while there. Decorative bit parts came her way in such films as Casino Royale and Where’s Jack? (1969). One of her many photo ads got her a screen test and a one-year contract at Paramount where she won the role of Richard Widmark’s daughter in the comedy/western A Talent for Loving (1969).
1969 proved to be a good year for Munro, because it was then that she began a lucrative 10 year relationship with Lamb’s Navy Rum. Her image was plastered all over the country, and this would eventually lead to her next big break.
Hammer Films CEO Sir James Carreras spotted Munro on a Lamb’s Navy Rum poster/billboard. He asked his right hand man, James Liggett, to find and screen test her. She was immediately signed to a one-year contract. Her first film for Hammer proved to be something of a turning point in her career. It was during the making of Dracula AD 1972 that she decided from this film onward she was a full-fledged actress. Up until then she was always considered a model who did some acting on the side.
A string of fantasy and horror roles followed, including starring turns in Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1973), The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1974), At the Earth’s Core (1976), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), StarCrash (1978), Maniac (1980), The Last Horror Film (1982), Faceless (1988), and The Black Cat (1989).
By the 1990s Munro had decided to focus more on her family, daughters, Georgina and Iona, and husband George Dugdale. However, since 2003 Caroline has renewed her interest in acting and has appeared in a number of film and audio productions. Since 2021 Caroline has been presenting the hit television series The Cellar Club for Talking Pictures TV.
The title First Lady of Fantasy was given to Caroline by journalist Steve Swires, who wrote many Starlog and Fangoria (@FANGORIA) articles on the actress in the 1980s and 1990s.
Happy Birthday Caroline!

Something that still doesn't sit right with me while being a part of the HOTD fandom is how Laena was done so dirty, from being placed as a "second" option for Daemon and having him keep her from returning home, from having her daughters see Driftmark, from seeing her own brother and parents before she died! That added on to the fact of how Daemon just sucked at loving her the way she deserved makes my blood boil. And to make matters worse, to drive the knife further, is during her funeral (added on to him laughing during it, which wasn't appropriate at all no matter the context or what anyone says) where she and her unborn son were only just recently placed at the bottom of the sea, Daemon and Rhaenyra sleep together and then marry each other all within the span of the same episode (don't even get me started on how they went heavy into the romantics of the moment but couldn't even bother to show Daemon be affection with Laena like he was in the books I believe).
And some in the fandom reaction to all this can be such a turn off. Because you can have people, mainly black fans, rightfully call out problems with this plot change, with Rhaenyra and Daemon sleeping together only right after Laena's funeral and will be met with so many heinous responses (a lot in which tie in with centering Rhaenyra and going "oh so you hate her" type beat) and it's so frustrating. That, and how we barely see Daemon interact with his daughters, let alone be affectionate as well as protective over them---that scene where the girls are bruised from a fight and clear in distress and yet Daemon doesn't even move to check on them nor go into a rage at the fact that his daughters were harmed, let alone the fact that his now dead wife's dragon was claimed by another on the day of her funeral. None of that. But will stand protectively by Rhaenyra and her sons' side without second thought. Make it make sense.
#hotd#house of the dragon#laena velaryon#daemon targaryen#rhaenyra targaryen#and it's so disheartening bc hotd producers made the velaryons black for obvs diversity points#and still could of had the same plot for that house and its characters with little problem#but instead they decided to do all the mess they did and it feels like such a disservice#you should know that you did something wrong when on of the actresses working with you goes#“hey....um...why was this plot added? is this necessary?”#and its a big reason why i don't really find myself being on any teams side in this verse#like yeah id choose rhae over aegon but i still have many choice words for her (daemon can choke)#the narrative really gives laena the disposable black girlfriend (or partner) trope just to move on to daemyra#that is so disrespectful#there's so much that i want to say but that'll be for another post#toxic daemyra stans dni!
